  1. If I understood you correctly, you are looking for a camera with a high "burst" rate.  If you want to go with a standard 35mm camera, almost any of them will do quick burst. If they don't, you can get attachments for them to make them do burst.  It gets tricky when you try to go to digital though.  There are a ton of them that will do burst at a high rate and frame count.  The problem is in the the fact that you can't get them to do it in high resolution unless you're willing to spend $5000+ on it. Most won't do the professional speed burst higher than 5mp, even at that price range.  There are thousands of "off brand" or "no name" cameras that claim high burst rates at a reasonable price ($100-$400), I question their quality.  In all my reasearch, the cameras that do high burst rate and frame rate well will cost $500 or more.  Even though it won't be at high resolution, i've found that Olympus, Nikon, and Canon seem to have the best FPS(frames per second) ratings with price tags from as little as $350.  Basically, if you are going to do a lot of burst frames, you're better off going with a 35mm camera. I have found those as little as $80 that takes great, fast pictures.  If you have the money to spend on high res. high burst rate digital cameras, I have found that Olympus seems to offer the highest fps at the highest resolution. There may be better ones out there, but thats what "I" have found.
