What are those cute little cartoon guys called?

i cant remember the name of them but they look a little emo and they have hearts on their chest and they have big white eyes and they are always saying cute little things... like one is about how penguins stay with one mate forever and the one lil cartoon asks the other "Will you be my penguin" they are so cute. anyone know what they are called?
