What are those line separators they have at places like the bank called?

They're metal poles that have retractable fabric that link together to create a line. I need to find pictures of them.

Used for crowd control and to direct traffic.Stanchions.

The French call the latter traverses, the stanchions montants, and the whole arrangement armature. Stanchions frequently finish with ornamental heads forged out of the iron. I have included the link so you can see the different styles.  .....thank you
