Is it possible to upgrade to them on a 2000 tracker?

Are they really worth it? Cause I find my current lights are not bright enough at night.

  1. The blueish tinged lights?  Those are LED lights.  They really are brighter, but can be expensive to install.  You could to talk to a local auto shop, they may be able to give you an estimate.

  2. Idk

    let me know though!

    i want them for my 2008 dodge nitro.

  3. Their called Xenon or HID high performance headlamps offered on models such as Lexus, BMW, Cadillac, etc.  Sylvania Silver Star bulbs could be adapted to your 2000 Tracker for between $20.00 to $38.00.  Web sites that can furnish more information are: www.racinglab.com  www.miglcute.com    www.taillightking.com   or www.lightbulbs.searchingpros.com

  4. Not LED, Xenon HID (High intensity Discharge)

    the bulb is filled with xenon gas and instead of a filament, it uses something similar to a spark plug that sends an electrical current across a gap that creates the blue color and bright light when combined with the gas.

    They do help you see farther in the dark, (visability increase of 100%) if you splurge on the nice ones, not the cheap $20 ones you get at the Walmart then your purchase will be worth it. Annoying to anyone passing you at night, but good for you!

    =)

  5. they are called xenon or HID witch stands for High Intencity Directional i do belive that xenon bulbs are almost universal but may be illegal in your state i would look it up before purchasing then a friend of mine picked som up from EBAY cheep GOOD LUCK
