What are those white specks on cats hair ?

A few of my cats have white specks on random parts of the hair on their body. They are on the tips of the hair strands. They even look like they movie. Is it normal or is it an illness? Or are these parasites?

More than likely it i just dandruff. Even still, if you are worried, you could take your kitty to a vet or groomer, and have them check out your kitty for any potential problems.

Probably dandruff. My cats have it because of eating too much protein rich food. It´s brushed out but never entirely.

my cats get dust all in there fur. it could be that.

It sounds like kitty dandruff.

Fleas are brown and move super fast, so don't worry.

To help with the dandruff, start to feed your cats soft cat food twice a day.  Just a little scoop.  This contains oils that you won't find in hard food.  You can also feed them tuna in natural oil.

Don't bath...this will only make it worse!

if they move see a vet as could be easily treated maybe something like lice.

if they come off when cat is stroked they are simply  shed skin cells called 'dander', the human equivalent would be dandruff.
