    El Salton – not a spot on the tourist trail, but wonderfully peaceful and charming. Old Havana itself is very much a focal point, and allows for all tastes amidst it’s 18th century colonial architecture from candlelit dinners to passionate salsa dance.   2. Consider Havana , the Capital of Cuba.

    Visit the Capitolio , Parque Central ( Central Park) , El morro ( the old Castle)

    Visit the FOCSA building one of the highest in Havana and go to the roof top restaurant named " La Torre" ( the tower).

    with a great view over Havana.

    There 's an open top roof restaurant on top of the hotel Ambos Mundos (Old Havana) , the hotel where Ernest Hemingway stayed. read more at

    Drive or walk along the Malecon in Havana.

    Visit the valley of Viñales.

    But consider Havana, the capital of Cuba. There is a lot of old and new history everywhere, especially here.

    Parque Histórico Morro y Cabaña in Havana where there's a lighthouse, restaurants, and museums.

    Monumento Ernesto Che Guevara in Santa Clara.

    The city of Trinidad is a historical site. Several blocks square of perfect pastel-colored mansions, churches, and cobblestone streets -- is one of the greatest collections of colonial architecture to be found anywhere in the Americas. The star among Trinidad's colonial set pieces is the Museo Romántico, in an 18th-century mansion right on the main square.

    Santiago de Cuba is also one of the oldest cities in Cuba with a lot of sites to see.

    Café del Oriente and La Bodeguita del Medio in Havana. Both places are known to be classy and elegant with excellent food and service.
