  1. the army was better trained at warfare, they had better funding for the war, they had better generals to lead the army into battle.

  2. The three biggest are the overwhelming advantages in industry, population, and resources (economic and natural).

  3. More soldiers.

    Bigger industrial base.

    Fewer scruples.

  4. More soldiers, more guns, more ammunition.

  5. I am a Confederate civil war reenacter and three reasons that the north won the civil war is because they did have more weapons and more soldiers. The other reason is that they had the president of the united states on their side and he could make sure that they had all the weapons that they needed.

  6. 1) The North had more men and the industry to make the war material needed

    2) Southern planters did not switch from tobacco and cotton (more profit) to food crops. (The lower and middle class soldiers would desert to go home to feed their families thus taking more soldiers out of combat to bring them back.)

    3) The war was not popular with the common soldier. (Why should we die for the rich mans way of life...The majority of Southerners were not slave holders.)

    I hope this helps.
