Depending truly on your budget and time.

But a nust in Andalucia are Granada, Ronda, Cordoba and Sevilla. Take Cadiz and Malaga with it and you had a great trip.

Stay cheap at hostels or hostales ( www.hostelz.com ) is a good website for it and use busses and you will stay on a good budget.

Get a good travel guide like Lonely Planet, Lets Go or the Rough Guide, which tells you a great deal about traveling on a budget in Andalucia and Spain.

Granada, If you buy a drink you get the best tapas, no need to buy meals.

You are so lucky. The nicest things in Andalucia ARE budget.

Granada is not only a must, but has also many budget hostals (small hotels) in the alleys.

Take the bus to either Sevilla , either Cordoba, depending on whether you are looking for a buzzing outgoing city or looking for silent beauty.

From Sevilla take the bus to Ronda, the original location of Carmen, the niche of Orson Welles, Hemingway.... So nice to stay a night there.

But if you have a car, you have more options. I would not miss a lazy afternoon swimming at the embalses de Guadalhorce.

But any which way , any where you will dropped, Andalucia is a highlight anywhere.
