What are twinkies and what do they taste like ?

I'm doing a swap with someone from america where she sends me american things and in return i send her uk things what aer twinkies i know you eat them ?

They are oblong little yellow cakes with a crean filling. Very good!!!! You will like them. I can't believe there are no twinkies in the uk MMMMMMMMM!

They're not too different to mini swiss rolls.

They are sponge with creamy stuff in the middle.  They are REALLY REALLY nice :)))))

EDIT***  OMG!!!  1/4 bunny - you say you can get chocolate ones???  OMG!!!  I would be in heaven there!!

they are sponge fingers with fake cream in the middle. Actually quite nice but really not good for you. We dont really have a UK equivalent to them.

i think they taste bad. i just took one bite & spit it out & gave the rest to some guy.

A twinkie is a very fatning treat;)  It is a yellow spongecake in a little log shape about the size of a candy bar and filled with whipped cream.  A company called Hostess makes these things to see how big our butts really can get-twinkies, HoHos, SuzieQ's....MMMMMM!
