  1. If a lightbulb goes out, the rest of the house won't lose electricity, and the wires will overheat a lot less.

  2. The lights will see lower current passing through them. In series, all the current to light all the lights flows though the first light; that is bad.

If a light goes out it won't kill all the other lights. Think of a strand of Christmas lights. How annoying would it be it your porch light blew and none of the other lights in the house would turn on?

  3. 1) the connection will not be disrupted even though one or more parts of the secondary wiring of the circuit is broken.

    2) The house doesn't receive a big amount of electricity so you save money

  4. 1. they will all shine with the same brightness as the current isnt split btw them

    2.  so if one goes off it doesnt ruin the whole circut as they are parallel so dnt depend on each other.

    Good Luck!

  5. Lights in the houses need separate control for each light.

If in series all have to be switched at a time

Lights are made for standard voltage So you can put them in the socket. No need for calculation if used in series.

Also if one lamp in series goes out due to filament fusing, all lights will go out..

  6. 1. If one globe blows, the others will stay on. If it was in a series circuit they would all go out if one glow blew. You can turn one light on without the rest of them going on. Vice versa, you can turn one light off without the rest of them going off.

    2. The current passing through them isn't split, so each globe will go brighter in a parallel circuit compared to a series circuit.

The globes won't overheat as much either (in a parallel circuit)

Pretty much, parallel circuits make each globe independant, whereas in a series cicuit all globes are dependant on the actions of the others.
