  1. benefits of agriculture: 1. providing food for people and animals and 2. a source of income for farmers and the country.

agriculture becomes negative when the practices are wrong or when the land is misused: 1. pollution (of air, water and soil) for ex: due to the misuse of pesticides or soil fertilizers. and 2. land degradation (lowering land productivity due to malpractices such as unsuitable water quality used in irrigation, toxicity developing because of fertilizers and pesticide application)

  2. Your question left out 'uses of what'.

But more of a problem it leaves out what you mean by environmental uses. Are some uses not environmental? This may depend on what it is that is being used, I suppose.

  3. Farming benefits society by reducing the travel distance to food sources as opposed to gathering.

Farming harms society by depleting soil resources faster than gathering.

Animal husbandry provides the same benefits as opposed to hunting.

Animal husbandry harms society by concentrating pollutants in a smaller area, although some of this harm can be mitigated by fertilizing growing soil.

One cannot utilize the environment to benefit society without harming the environment, which eventually returns as harm to society.  Fortunately, the Earth, considered as a whole ecological system is very efficient in recycling, enabling societies to exist for thousands of years and species to exist for tens of thousands of years, if not millions.
