What are unique RN jobs?

I am working toward my RN license, and I'm wondering what other job opportunities there are besides the usual hospital, hospice, or per diem/travel nurse. I'd like to hear suggestions and others experiences with them.

Nurse paralegals have interesting jobs, and they make excellent money--they help lawyers prepare for litigation in medical malpractice and similar cases.  You might have to get a paralegal certification depending on what attorneys in your area are looking for as far as experience and education in the legal field.
