I find it all very sad that everyone seems to have forgotten Tibet for the trivialities of frills and spills.

Not as good as the Athens opening.. and much of "scroll" effects in the arena were computer fakery.. not to mention the fireworks.

LOL.. and now they've admitted the little girl singing was fake and miming, as the real girl singing wasn't "pretty" enough.. lol. Athens was 100 times better, the bit with Mahler's 3rd symphony actually made me cry, you should look it up.

It was the best opening ceremonies I have ever seen. Bravo to them. They did indeed did an awesome job.
