  1. Bakery and cashier I doubt much....but never know....about bakery..check some out.   Possible dog walking ..how about posting your needs some where on the net and your willingness to work and see what comes up.

But be careful and make sure it is a reliable source and safe before jumping into something.

Parents can help in this area........

  2. Here is a link to the website/blog i made specifically for people not old enough for an actual job. It's brand new, but bookmark it because I'm going to keep adding more!!

  3. Check the your paper for Jobs like helping kids younger than you with homework and stuff or helping clean small houses.

  4. Well, I don't think that working as a cashier would be possible at your age unless you know the people who manage the bakery. Other than babysitting and lemonade stands, you could get a paper route job, which usually pays a lot, mow lawns, and do some dog walking which some people pay for. At your age, really there aren't that many jobs out there but those are a few!!

    Hope I helped!!

  5. Hi Sweetheart,

You're too young to get working papers. You can't work in a bakery or any place else (legitimately) , but you are so good hearted to want to help your family.

Babysitting, at least in my neck of the woods, pays really, really well. Being a mother's helper, where you hang with the kids for a number of hours during the day (generally the summer or school holidays) lets you earn more.

Once school starts, could you tutor younger kids who need help in a subject you are especially good in? That's a great job, and you could do it after school or in the evenings.

I don't know what your parents sell, or where the store is but with that kind of revenue (sales), it seems like they might want to close up and go on to something else (i.e., jobs with paychecks).

It's a tough world, and earning money is hard. However, I have the feeling you and your family are going to be all right.

  6. Buy and sell on Ebay.

  7. mow yards that always good

  8. mow lawns or help neighbors with something?? I really don't know, cuz i'm also 12 and want to find something right.......i think that babysitting would be easy

  9. Mow lawns, weed gardens, wash windows, cars, walk dogs, pet-sit, offer to watch people's houses/pick up their mail while they're on vacation, etc. Go through your neighborhood, tell people that you're want to make some money, and ask if they have any jobs you can do for them. You could also always do a paper route, but I don't think the money would be as good. You can also help your parents with their financial situation by helping save as much money around the house as possible: take shorter showers, don't waste electricity, etc. It sounds small, but those things really add up!

  10. Take surveys online
