Should we pull out or should we still be in the war.

If we pull out

Good things:

-soldiers will be with there family again.

-less money on the military

bad things:

-We might have another terrorist attack.

-Same thing might happen to Iraq like when we pull out of the Vietnam War.

If we be in the war

-American Soldiers would be killed

-they will miss there family

(we can't blame everything on bush) lol

  1. Win, and then go home.  It'll cost less soldier, marine, and airmen's lives by finishing the project then the inevitable return to a much worse situation that leaving prematurely would.  As per the US military costs - the budget allows for 3% of the GNP and the war costs an additional 1%.  In the Reagan administration, it was 6% and in the Kennedy administration, 9% so it is easily affordable.

  2. Pull Out - Good things

There may be less money on the military but that will just mean more thrown at 'defence research' and other parts of the private 'defence industry' Blackwater and Halliburton will still be coining it I'm sure - the corporate plutocracy run the country, not the government.

Bad things - Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism - that's a stupid comment.  Those that the US brought in, if they had the gear to damage the US how would they get it there - remote controlled dinghy?

What happened to Vietnam? The people got the government they wanted all along rather than the repressive dictatorship backed by the US.

If the United States really wanted to end terrorism it would just stop doing it! Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism. The world knew that Saddam had no links with terrorists, though Bush did - and not just himself and his official US ones either.

The Iraq puppet plutocracy would probably not last 5 minutes without a US presence. If Iraq reaches a state of democracy then the US would have to do another 'regime change'. The United States has consistently stamped out democracy all over the world, including at home. The US is a plutocracy but that's another question.

Whatever the outcome, s**+'ite majority in south Iraq would probably link up with that in Iran and could embolden or assist those in the closest and oil-rich part of Saudi. This group might then turn to China, which the US can't intimidate and not cooperate with the US international 'protection racket'.

This is why you will be there for the foreseeable future.
