  1. Guilt is a useless emotion  However not to be mixed up with a conscience.

  2. uuhhhhh..that's really bad. you'll get cancer or something.

but dont worry, karma will get the best of you....it'll pass in time. one of these days you will be able to forgive yourself.

  3. I really don't know..I do crappy stuff all the time and I do feel guilty..but I just block it out..and eventually I do something else crappy to make me forget about the first. Of course i'm manic depressive/bipolar and I lie a lot...so I could be lying now..who knows..

  4. it depends on the situation, the people involved, etc. i could only give you decent advice if i knew the whole story. but most of the time telling a random person helps a lot. if you ever need to talk im here! :)

  5. So easy! THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE..........

  6. Accept and let go. apologise, and that's all there is to it. Then let some time pass, be honest to yourself and don't be a selfish son of a *****, and tell that other dude that you ****** up and I forgot what else I wanted to say.

Oh, yeh... let time  do the rest.

I'm so wise.... like... that dude from "asterix and Ovelix"... you know, the one who makes that thing they drink..

    :-p

  7. confess. once you let it all out, you'll feel better.. but of course, you have to change for the better. have a nice weekend

  8. go to baclaran church and confess to the priest.

  9. Tell the truth.

Know that what you did, you cannot take it back no matter what.

  10. don't hesitate, go for it, the truth will set you free...

  11. Confess our sins to God; that will help ease our conscience and make us sleep better at night.

If guilt stemmed from having done something wrong to a person, then, apologize sincerely.  If guilt came from doing something that only we know about then, ask God's forgiveness and try not to commit the same in the future.

  12. There are several things you can do when you feel guilty.

    1) If i was your fault, make amends - no matter how bad you screwed up, the punishment has got to be better than letting the burning guilt eat you from the inside out. face the music. Apologize, and fix your mistake.

    2) If you can't fix things right away, plan out a way to do it and commit to it. Then you can put it out of your mind until it's time to put your plan into action. Don't back out.

    3) If there isn't anything you can do to fix it, atone some other way - give to the needy, become a more considerate person, do volunteer work, apologize to everyone for every bad thing you've ever done, repay kindnesses or be kind to strangers.

    4) If you feel guilty for something that isn't your fault, write down on a piece of paper what you can do about it. Make a list of your ideas, and what you can do to carry them out realistically. If there isn't anything you can do, then put the whole thing out of your mind by doing something else that requires your attention.

    5) If you have already made up for it but still feel guilty, then you should realize this as a learning experience. From now on you will know not to do whatever it was that made you guilty. Put this whole situation in that box, and go back to living your life, but more carefully.

  13. GUILT IS A STUPID FEELING NO ONE SHOULD FEEL IT BECAUSE, YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT “THAT” YOU DID WAS WRONG IN THE FIRST PLACE, SO IF THE GUILT IS EATING YOU ALIVE JUMP OFF A BALCONY END OF STORY

  14. What kind of guilt are you talking about? If it's about regrets...the only best thing to do is to be productive and turn regret into something positive. Don't try to change the past or keep thinking about it.

If you're talking about guilt cos you murdered someone or a similar situation that definitely cannot be turned around, 1. recognize what you did 2. accept what you did was wrong 3. accept the consequences.

no. 3 is probably the hardest to do. But think abt it this way: you touched a pot while it was still boiling with water...you burn yourself...it is "easier" to blame yourself than to blame the pot.

Obviously there is no "easy" way out, and no good or bad choice in this case. You just have to make the *better* choice.

  15. Whatever Your Feeling Guilty For it's better To Get it Off Your Chest And Come out with it..because it's wrong if your feeling guilty and it's not right to Lie.. i've dealt with it Many Of Times :)

  16. Ask yourself; Is there anything that you can do about it?  If not, then pray for forgiveness.  Give some time and part of yourself to a project that helps others.  If you can't make restitution to the persons you feel guilty about, then help others unselfishly.  We all feel some guilt for the way we have treated others in life before we knew, what we know now.  We must forgive ourselves for our ignorance.  Good luck.

  17. First confess to God and ask forgiveness.  Then confess to whom you have harmed and make restitution.  Ask for forgiveness.

    Repent and sin no more.

  18. If it is possible, make amends for the wrongs you have done to someone.  Then move forward, leaving the past behind.

Sometimes it is not possible to make the past "right".  In that case, vow to live a different life - and do it.  From that day forward be the person you know in your heart you should be.  Beyond that, there is nothing more you can do.

Do not say it, do not do it IF it would be "hateful" to have said or done to you.  May you live by these words from this day...

  19. Ask more questions!!!  LOL

It's not guilt that is eating you alive, kid.  There's nothing to feel guilty about, unless you're still thinking of that murder that I let you get away with.

    Get some rest please.

  20. Whatever floats your boat. Pray, Talk about it, go to confession if your religious. Whatever you did wrong, try to make it right anyway you can.

  21. confess. let the truth be known. unburden yourself. if its as dark and life altering as jail, then live with the guilt for sure.

if its some relationship thing like cheating or loving someone else, get out with the truth before it festers and manifests itself physically.

Guilt can sometimes cause a great deal of stress, nervous breakdowns, unexplained neurological problems and chronic pains. so better let it out, face the truth, settle it out than let your mental and physical health suffer.

  22. Guilt is eating you alive.  Good for you.  Often times people feel guilty but not wholeheartedly.  Obviously in your case you are really dying of that guilt.  That alone is a first step of telling the truth.  Go ahead and apologize to someone that you feel guilty of or of matter that cause you to feel guilty.  I agree with you.  You made mistake for what ever you have done and sorry for it.  We are only humans we make mistakes. For as long as you admit it and the consequences that come with your actions you should be OK.  Be responsible for what you do-apologize if that makes you feel good. I applaud you for taking the time admitting you are guity of something just don't make a habit of doing it all the time and not sincerely doing it to amend your guilt.   You have the same morality as I have.  Go make something more positive and show them or perhaps yourself that you are only human and hope that it will not happen again.

    Good luck.
