  1. Every ride in the park is different. For older attractions such as the 'woodies' they require no certain weight, it's just the matter of weather the bar will come down + lock. Extrem steel rides such as Magnum XL-200 will not operate untill all bars are safely locked and the weight limit isn't too high.

Good luck anyway and have a great time !

  2. hmmm

    go to cedarpoint.com

get their number and ask a worker :D

  3. I believe they have 250 pound weight limit. That goes for the attractions. The other thing they will let is if you can fit in the seatbealt. If you can't fit in the seatbelt, you won't fit in the lap-bar, and you can't ride.

  4. for a women if you weigh more then 200 pounds or your size is 18 or over.

  5. there is no weight limit! it really depends on how big the person is and if the seat belt on the ride fits. Just because they wont fit in one does no mean they wont fit in any!

  6. The following is from Cedar Point's website:

"Safety is number one at Cedar Point. All passenger restraint systems, including lap bars, shoulder harnesses and seatbelts, must be positioned, fastened and tightened to allow guests to ride. We are required by the State of Ohio to enforce all manufacturer requirements.

Due to rider restraint system requirements, guests of exceptional size may not be accommodated on some of our rides. This may apply, but not be limited to, men who exceed 6’2”, or those who exceed 225 pounds, have a 40” waistline or 52” chest or females who exceed 200 pounds or wear size 18 or larger. Each person has different body proportions so it is not possible to list exact size and weight.

Our larger guests may experience difficulty on Blue Streak, Chaos, Corkscrew, Disaster Transport, Mantis, Maverick, maXair, Mean Streak, Millennium Force, Mine Ride, Power Tower, Raptor, Skyhawk, Top Thrill Dragster, Wave Swinger, Wicked Twister.

Maximum recommended weight limits are posted on many rides including Camp Snoopy rides, Chaos, Monster, Planet Snoopy rides, Scrambler, Skyscraper, Super Himalaya, Troika, Wave Swinger, RipCord and most Soak City attractions.

You may enter the ride via the exit to ensure the restraints function properly prior to waiting in line. We have test seats at Maverick, maXair, Millennium Force, Raptor, Skyhawk, Top Thrill Dragster and Wicked Twister."

Overall, if he is exceptionally large, I would have him test the seat before waiting in the lines because I know I would be mad if I waited in line for Millenium Force to find out I could not ride it.  That would be a waste of my time.  If this is his first time going, I still encourage him to go because he will never know if he fits in the rides unless he tries them out.  If he doesn't fit this time, he then knows not to spend the money to go next time.  There are some rides that he will be able to ride, but he will have to ride by himself if he is too large.  Now that doesn't include Millenium Force and other rollercoasters that have two seats in a car, it is more like Mine Ride that is a bench seat that doesn't have two seats per train.  I hope you have fun!
