What are weird/stupid laws in your state?

i don't have any here that i know of only blocking the sidewalk with your car can get you a ticket. here in indiana.

I hear that here in California, it's against the law to peel an orange in your hotel room. Go figure.

It's not my state, but in Maine recently a law was enacted prohibiting adults from smoking in their car with children under the age of 16 inside.

I realize it's a well intended protection or some such issue, but it just irks me that the state is telling people what to do in such a manner!

In Indiana it used to be illegal for a female to hang her underwear outside on the clothesline to dry. I haven't heard of that law being changed.
