What are you allowed to bring back from mexico?

I live in kingman,az. and travel to san luis,mexico through yuma,az. I was wondering if i could bring back furniture or appliances. It would take only hours.

In Baja we buy our appliances in the US. Hand crafted furniture is OK but nothing for resale.

I'm personally not familiar with the rates you must pay to customs for bringing furniture to the US, but it should be perfectly possible.

I agree, don't waste your money buying electronic appliances here. Especially legit DVD's or videogames which can be up to 3 times more expensive than in the USA. There's a reason why so many mexicans like taking weekend shpping trips to Texas.

You do not want to buy appliances in Mexico.  They cost MORE in Mexico than in the states.  Handcrafted furniture, yes, but appliances , no.
