I start out my day with a daily quiet time with Him. I pray, I adore Him, I praise Him, and I then ask for petitions. I also read 3 chapters of the bible. I walk with God all day long and most days I am continuing to pray all day long. then when I am about to retire I go and get my bible and end my day with loving Him and thanking Him for the good day.

God is my best friend and I love spending time with Him!!

Each day when I get up, I light a candle and speak to Her, asking Her to bless my work that day and protect everyone I love, and to strengthen me to work with students at the (Catholic) school where I teach.

Well, I don't go off emotions. I can't. Emotions come and go. Today, I may feel like Jesus ought to come back, because I am ready to see Him; tomorrow, I may feel like I just want to be able to pull myself out of bed. I read God's Word, get a healthy dose of C.S. Lewis, pray, and try to act like Jesus. That's really all I can do. And all of it is based upon the will, not my emotions.

You should pray for it and stay in your word. That's what I'm trying to do.

The closer you get and stay to him...the better. And the Bible says in his presence is the fullness of Joy. So spending time reading, praying, or worshiping him are all ways to get into his presence.

And by continuing to do these things it ensures that you'll stay in his presence.

I guarantee you that your love for him will intensify.

And thus, your passion for him will increase.
