  1. I am driving a LOT less.

  2. I never have the problem because I'm like the Europeans, drive less and ride the bus more... Also, I only drive low CC manual transmission vehicles, for example, the Proton Savvy...

  3. buying a scooter they get 70 to 100 mpg,and do highway speed

  4. Walking and staying home 5 days a week. The fun times are over.

  5. Just try to cope for now, but until next year, it will be rough, but it should all go back down to normal, or at least not over 4.00, but try not to drive as much, Carpool, Use good driving techniques, like try not to come to a stop as much as you can, so it doesn't take all that gas to get the vehicle going again.

  6. I bought a bicycle for $15 at a fleamarket. Not something Lance Armstrong would lust after, but it's shiny. Cars burn most gas when they're warming up and most trips are only a few blocks anyway. Plus I lost 3 lbs, (it's a start), and when I use the bike everyday, I don't sit on the couch eating chips. Just think, I could have bought 3 gals of gas and 1 bag of chips for that money.
