What are you doing to help McCain-Palin win in November?

a couple of years ago when running mcsame said, 'fight, fight, fight!!'  in the spring time tv ads, he said ' war, war, war!!!' [6 times in 20 seconds].  last night he was back to 'fight, fight, fight!'  25 times in his speech.  we can see where his mind set is.  i'm waiting for 'kill, kill, kill!!!'  sorry guys, its time for peace and prosperity. [ or heaven help us.]

I am voting for Obama. I assume this will help McCain realize that he is the only presidential candidate that is approved for medicare for his mental illness.

I just donated $100 to their campaign today and I'll be on the phone encouraging people to get out and vote for McCain/Palin.

The county fair is coming up and I think I can get some buttons and bumper stickers there.

Talking about them openly wherever I go.

I work P/T at a school system -- yes, a school system, one of the meccas of liberalism -- and when I revealed myself as a fan of Palin, I was stunned to hear from so many others that they were too or had been converted.  

Many of them are moms and are incredibly moved by her story and image.  And some of them, whom I know to be Democrats, are absolutely livid that the left-wing media is attacking Palin in the hateful way that they are.

(Blaming the attacks on unnamed bloggers isn't working either, since the media repeats what the bloggers are saying and doesn't instead deliver a forceful condemnation and backlash.  These women want the bloggers publically named and condemned by the media as hate mongers equivalent to David Duke, or else they say it is clear that the media is complicit and like-minded.)

One woman, a teacher, just last week was proudly wearing an Obama button every day.  Today it was gone.  I asked her where her button went.  She said she become disillusioned and disappointed this week and she's thinking of voting for McCain now.

My mouth nearly dropped, and she noticed it.  "Is that wrong of me?" she asked.  I assured her she was right on.

Of course, there are still many here who remain rabidly left wing, and Obama's still their savior.  Some of them are real wacko hippie types, so I'm not surprised.  What's funny though is they came and joined in our discussion, and the things they were saying to both defend Obama or issue attacks on McCain and Palin really come out sounding insane!  If anything, it helps to confirm the idea in people's minds, who might be on the fence, that Obama supporters are nuts, narrow-minded and filled with rage and hate.

Consider this:  The left continues to misinterpret the success of Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, or O'Reilly.  The left thinks they all came along and they spread lies and propaganda and gullible sheep eat it up.  But the truth is exactly 180 degrees opposite.  They are responding to the huge audience who thinks these ways and has been thinking these ways and has been frustrated because they watch the left-wing media and see their POV entirely under-represented.  Ask a fan why they listen and almost all of them respond that (for example) "Rush says the things I think."

So get out there and talk to people, as much as you can, because it works the same way.  A lot of people are still confused about what to do.  They want to feel good about voting for Obama because of his rock star status, but they have this nagging feeling that he is naive and unprepared and there's this dynamite duo with a proven record of real change and bipartisanship who will scare the heck out of the Congress which has a 91%+ disappoval rating.  And all they need to do is hear it from you, to realize they already know the right choice in their heart.

From what I heard this week, I think people are beginning to understand that the REAL change candidates, the ones who HAVE delivered in the past and aren't just promising things they can't deliver, are McCain and Palin.

And I honestly think Democrats are going to be stunned just how badly their hate-filled reactions are being perceived.

I just made another donation to the Obama campaign.  Since selecting a neoconservative fundamentalist christian for vp I am very determined to do what I can to prevent our country from being run by the christian taliban.

by the way, why exactly are you under the impression that Obama is a messiah?  And if he is the messiah, why wouldn't you vote for him?  Personally, I think he is just a very intelligent, thoughtful guy with some great ideas for helping the country become great again.

My mother and I are going to McCain HQ in Boston next week to the phone banks. I also spread the message everywhere that McCain is the right person for the job. I had two Dems I was encouraging to vote for McCain call me after Palin's speech and say they are convinced and are voting for McCain/ Palin. I also have a McCain sign on my lawn and a Army Vets for McCain bumper sticker on my car. I bought my mom a McCain bumper sticker for her car. My husband's co workers are switching to Palin because they like that her husband is a union guy ..they feel like they relate to her family the most.

WE need to inform/TELL our political representatives that WE NEED TO PASS a Constitutional Amendment for the LINE ITEM VETO.

This will keep the SPECIAL INTEREST GARBAGE from being attached to valuable legislation.

IF your special interest is SO valuable, why do you have to HIDE it in valuable legislation?

So, with them REFUSING to PASS the Line Item Veto, in reality, the House and Senate have REALLY been controlling the country!!

AND, with the CURRENT Senate and Congress having the WORST approval rating in HISTORY, hopefully we will see a LOT of changes after the general elections.

RECENTLY - - JUST 8% of Likely Voters now say the DEMOCRATICALLY CONTROLLED Congress is doing a good or excellent job.

Democrats generally believe in heavy fines for honest work, while rewarding sloth and indulgence.

Do YOU think that people should be able to do absolutely nothing productive and get government hand-outs for sloth and indulgence - healthcare, tobacco, alcohol, drugs, STDs, etc. ??
