in Texas the no child left behind mandate is not working!  The teachers are so stressed teaching the taks test junk, they cant concentrate on just good ole fashion teaching from the heart , each individual child as he or she needs!  Those days are gone for good! the concept is good in theory but is not working! our kids could make A's and pass all tests but fail the taks test and fail for the year! not right!!

Nothing! And I plan to keep it that way. I have no faith in our government operated school system or their ability to properly educate our childen. I privately tutor my children and neither need nor want help from the government.The No Child left Behind proposal is nothing but a political football.
