  1. paint?  idk.

  2. my gf's hemicuda is bright green

yes that V8 gas guzzling monster sure is green

    :)

  3. I plan to cut the grass in the backyard and mix it up in a lovely salad.  I think I'll call it 'Backyard bluegrass salad'.  Do you like the name?

On a serious note, I'm going to start some work with a joint venture group to produce Biodiesel fuel from algae recovered from municipal wastewater treatment plants.

  4. 1 gather rain water run off for watering my vegetable garden

2 when I mow the lawn keep it at least 2" high

3 always hang the laundry on the line to dry

4 have bought a bulk pack of CFL bulbs and replace old incandescent ones as they burn out

5 go fishing in my canoe more than my power boat also look at a newer outboard for my power boat less emissions

6 using my outside BBQ avoid heating up the house with the stove

  5. I'll hang the laundry out.

I'll continue the landscape project with native and drought tolerant plantings and locally available ground covers.

I will let my relatively small lawn grow taller than most people, and shade out some weeds.  I'm taking out more lawn this year.  I also pour boiling hot water on resistant weeds rather than using chemicals, and I simply pull up what I can by the roots.

We plan to build a trellis to shade the west facing windows and put up a canvass "sail" canopy to shade the west door and patio.

I'll open windows until about 11:00 AM, and not run the AC.  I'll open the windows again about sunset or a bit after, and pull cool air in from outside with a fan.

I'll use the overhead fan rather than the AC as much as possible.

We keep the thermostat set relatively high, because we have a high tolerance for temperature variation.  I know 80 would be impossible for most people, but we don't mind 85.

I save rainwater that runs off the roof and would otherwise go right to the street and the gutters to water the few plantings I have that require additional watering.  Carrying the water can actually gives me good weight bearing exercise, so I save a trip to the expensive and over-cooled gym.

  6. Mowing the lawn without shoes.

  7. Borrow the air from the sky to go sailing. It's more rewarding, you burn up energy, takes a little skill and you go fast. It is totally up to the guy or girl on the tiller how much speed you can squeeze out of a Hobie Cat upwind, reaching or downwind.
