What are you going to miss about George Carlin?

I am going to write an essay on him and I would like to know what I should mention, and why he was such an important man to so many people.

nothing  never heard of him

I will miss his big heart.

I liked his ability to go just past the limits of civility. He was able to say things like:

"If fire fighters fight fires, and crime fighters fight crime, what do freedom fighters fight?"

Like any great artists he allowed people to see things in a different light. He was able to pinpoint some weird norms in our culture and speak the truth in a way that was not aggressive.  I think that he freed many people of shackles of their own minds.

Nothing, comedians or so called comedians who get on stage and use so much profanity I don't care to listen to.
