Cold plate Fridays in the summer and an evening of DVDs as it's in the 90's here and I am alone.  Weekends I get out my VietNamese Pho, authentic Mexican, Polish, Irish  or Mohawk (Iroquois Nation) recipes to delight my friends as they have "single syndrome" as well after working all week.  Gotta love the internet and my US citizenship for introducing me to various friends with different heritage in person or on line willing to share recipes as cooking is fun is you are social.

BBQ ribs, Hot dogs for the kids, Tomatoe and cucumber salad( from my garden) and potatoes in the oven. YUMMY!!!!

As long as my garden is producing fresh produce, it'll be salad!  Fresh from the garden salad, with some chopped up hard-boiled egg, a little bit of grated cheese, and some chopped up deli meat. Served with a side of baked pitas with garlic salt. Yum!
