What are you like with money?

Are you an impulsive spender (spend as you earn each week), a big saver or a hybrid spender (spend some weeks and save some weeks)?

As for me, I'm a big time saver. I tend to save at least 80% of my earnings and only spend a bit of it. I always have this need to have a big lump sum in order to feel financially secure and that I can survive should a "rainy day" comes. It partly also comes from me wanting to save like this so if I happen to see something in a store one day that I REALLY want, I can have the pleasure of buying/getting it right there and then as an occasional spoil so I never end up being broke when a big time sale for stuff I like is on.

What type of person are you in terms of money?

  1. Iam a big spender especially on shoes, bags, make up..etc...he he, typical girl thing.

  2. I am a hybrid spender

i don't get a lot of money each week so i either save it for something big to buy or i spend it all on things like chocolate etc

  3. Unfortunately, I'm a big spender; rarely save money, though I really wish I can..

You're a good saver, could I keep my money with you?  :p

  4. I am very much of a saver, but I still keep a balance of spending on entertainment. Out of disposable income, after paying house and bills, I spend about half of what's left on going out and wants, and save the other half.

  5. i can save for a while, but then i'll spend it all...

  6. I've been a saver all my life and started investing in realestate  at the age of 20. It was hard work with social sacrifices but worth it. Today I'm set and free to do as I wish.

  7. I'm a hybrid spender...I'd save more if I had it, but I don't, so the things I spend money on are things that are needed :(

  8. all my earnings go on

    1.diet coke

    2.booze

    3.CD's books

    4. spraypaint

have been working all summer and have 50 quid to show for it!!

  9. Well, I don't have a great salary at the moment so I try to be very careful, putting away money for my bills at the end of the month etc but I can't afford to save right now because I do believe that you also need to enjoy the money you earn and so I do that once a week whether it's eating out or buying something for myself...whatever...nothing luxurious...mostly a small token gift or something I need for myself! I could save that money but how mundane life would be then...literally working your *** off to pay bills and nothing else...
