  1. i think if you let family know your wishes they can let the hospital know it was what you wanted. ive seen it on hospital shows ( the real ones not ER lol) and parents and family said it was their wishes.

if a very strong subject and one ive not thought about actually.

so thank you. gives us all something to think about for the future!!!

    hugs!!

  2. Machines are great, had a child on the works for an extended period. He is now fine. My grandfather was  also supported by machines and medicines, but he passed away. I feel he should not have been placed on support: his prognosis was poor. A person can write up a living will that stipulates some kind of medical plan if the drawer is unable to make his or her health decisions. If you put in the phrase living will into a search engine, you will find something you can print up.

  3. For myself, don't hook me up.  When it's my time to go, it's time to go.  Yes, consent and they all know.  u?

  4. I think they are awesome for someone who has a chance of living/life--and the youth.  But I also feel if there is not a chance of a life--or the elderly--let mother nature talk over.  My children DO know my wishes.

  5. my children know my wishes that i do not want to be kept alive by machine. i have donated my organs which they are also aware of. my thought is if i can help give someone else a better life by donating my organs, i am doing my part to help my fellow man.
