You know it... we've all been there. We walk into a friends home or someplace... and it's a mess. I guess it's not a big deal... but either they appologive for it being messy or they don't...if they do we usually just sayyyy...ohhhhh don't worry about it, i've seen worse, or mine gets that way too... or you know...something along that line. My question is.... what are you REALLY thinking in that brain of urs????

  1. my boyfriends family actually will not let anyone outside of their immediate family inside their house because it is so messy and they are ashamed to let anyone see it.  ive been to his house a couple times, ive only seen the outside of it, and he makes me wait in the car while he goes in.

as long as they warn me first that its messy i dont think its that bad, i have a pretty messy room so i dont mind.  but if they let it get so bad that it interferes with their everyday lives its a problem they need to work on, and clean up!

  2. If it is dirty - I think gross, I am not taking my shoes off here.    If it is just messy - it looks lived in and I feel more at home!  (Mine is just a little messy - no more than a days worth of stuff laying around)  I would say any more than a few days of mess would be considered dirty.  Man,  now I have to go do the dishes!

  3. That makes me think of the time not too long ago when I went to my friends house and she showed me her daughters room...I blurted out "oh she has a gerbil" She didn't. The room just stunk like a dirty cage. OOPS! I can deal with clutter but not dirt and smell.

  4. I'll be keeping my shoes on thank you.

  5. Its upsetting especially if it isnt clean. I mean clean is one thing since you can have clean clutter but if it is dirty-that is bad.

  6. I think how lazy they are...

  7. It depends if its dirty cluttered or dirty filthy. When they are messy I can understand but if I go to the bathroom where there is dirt and grime and hair and dust-ew. There is difference between messy and filthy. Nasty filthy places gross me out and maybe I would say its okay, but honestly I would probably never want to go back.

  8. 'gross, how can people live like this? how can it not bother them. '

'I'd rather not be here again.' that's depending on just how bad it is.

  9. I'd be thinking of getting a "Get Well Card" because none of my friends lets their homes get messy unless they are sick and even then someone will stop by and help out. That's one of the niceties of being older, we look out for each other.

  10. Its impossible to keep a house neat and tidy all the time, but dirty is something different. Dirty dishes and a smelly house are gross. A dirty bathroom is the worst.

  11. "I'm glad is not my home" or "I hope my home doesn't smell like this!" lol

I have 2 kids a dog and a cat and to keep it clean and smelling good it is a lot of work, some days I just let go...... it gets messy, but I can't stand it, and  i feel absolute horrible if someone comes in and its a mess.

I try to do a quick clean up every night, so the mess doesn't accumulate.

  12. my best friend is a SLOB and her bf is a SLOB and they argue about who does what chore and so then it never gets done, i can hardly go over to their house anymore.my first instinct is to start throwing garbage away, or wiping down counters or SOMETHING.i dont want to sit down cuz who knows what might be there, ive helped her clean her bedroom before and sort all her laundry and LITERALLY the next day i was over there and it was all messed up, i just dont get HOW it happens.sorry for the b*tchn!i hate s****. people.goodluck!!!
