Your 19 months of campaigning trumps the h**l out of Sarah Palins

3 weeks. Now in all fairness if it took Barack 19 months to get 34.6

Million Americans to watch his coronation. And it only took Sarah

Palin to pull the same nbr or slightly higher in just her first three

weeks. I would not be touting that as a trump card. Barack in his

sound bite today., Said I have 19 months doing this and She only

has 3 weeks with that smirk on his face. Wow is he just not getting

it or what.

  1. yes he is an idiot

  2. he's trying to make everyone forget that he has no experience whatsoever. it's working on many, just not me.

  3. It's only going to get worse for our little Hussein.  He has to debate McCain three times on live television.  Make some popcorn and keep a box of tissues handy.  You are going laugh so hard at Obama's fumbling and bumbling you are going to cry.  I can't wait.

  4. Maybe cos most republicans dont like the fact hes black, i'm sure if he was white , or looked like clinton he would win a landslide in November. (im white btw its just an observation).

  5. Well...the only reason Palin is getting all the attention is because her even being chosen as VP was a serious act of desperation from the right...watching the GOP campaign unfold has been like watching a really bad reality TV show!

And, she has given 2 speeches, refused to talk to the press...let's just see how she does when she doesn't have a written speech to use to tell what her positions are...oh wait, even in her 2 speeches she never really said what her positions were...being a Hockey Mom is not a position!!!

On the campaign trail, experience does count for a lot.

Are you just not getting it, or what??

  6. 2 points.....swish!

  7. Is there a question in there somewhere?  I can't find one.

  8. I see that you are not paying any attention to any issues but she see this election as "entertainment"...Here is what I would like to share with you regarding my "deconstruction" of Obama and McCain on a very important issue - the economy:

Obama’s Economic Plan if He Were President:  The Standard Democratic Response

•$50 Billion “Stimulus” Program to extend unemployment benefits past the 26 week limit and help struggling State governments.

•A more aggressive foreclosure prevention effort with $10 Billion dollar in funding.

•Tax cut for Americans making less than $150,000 and increase in taxes for those making more than $150,000 annually.

•Encourages a “windfall” profits tax on oil companies (which may discourage investment in new energy sources).

•Opposes raising the mandatory Social Security age

•Give $4,000 a year in tuition aid to college students interested in public service after graduation.

•Eliminating “taxes” for those who make less than $50,000 a year by giving them between $500 - $1,000 a year in tax relief.

How is Barack Obama Going to Fund These Initiatives?

•Close “corporate” loopholes worth $1 Billion dollars

•Cracking down on the international tax havens

•Increasing the dividend and capital gains taxes for the wealthy

Barack Obama’s Voting Record in the US Senate: Left-Leaning Tendencies

•Voted to repeal tax subsidies given to corporations that take jobs out of the country.

•Voted against reforming the “personal bankruptcy” law.

•Voted to shift corporate tax loophole monies to education and community learning centers.

•Voted hard against “drilling” more oil in Alaska

•Voted for strengthening “unions” and “increasing the minimum wage”

McCain’s Economic Plan if He Were President:  The Standard Republican Response

•Cutting the second highest business tax rate (as an incentive to create jobs and to prevent them from leaving the country)

•Doubling the child tax exemption from $3,500 to $7,000

•Reducing government spending and getting rid of “failed government programs”

•Opening new markets and preparing workers to compete in the “new economy”

    •Public/Private competition for educational systems

How does John McCain Plan to “Fund” These Initiatives?

•The solution is to “drill” for oil to reduce dependence upon “foreign” oil

•Reduce “pork” barrel spending in Washington

    •Eliminate corrupt lobbyists

McCain’s Voting Record in the US Senate is to: Right-leaning tendencies

•Refuse to remove the tax subsidies given to corporations that are moving jobs oversees

•Agreed to restrict and reform the “personal bankruptcy” law in order to make it more difficult for others to file for personal bankruptcy and not pay their bills.

    •Pro-Nafta, Pro-Gatt, Pro-Fast Track, Pro-MFN

•For reducing campaign finance (527) and against pork barrel spending but “doesn’t practice what he preaches”.

My Impression is that McCain “doesn’t practice what he preaches”….Though he says he is for reducing pork barrel spending and restricting the campaign financing, he selects a VP who is under suspicion for the very things he “publicly” despises…

Sarah Palin’s track record is “scanty” but from what I can tell she too lacks “credibility” when it comes to her private behavior vs. public behavior…

  9. Complete morons as VP  - happen not that often, hard to miss

  10. On Fox today, they said Palin drew 40 million viewers, more viewers than obama for his acceptance speech. And the US magazine that tried to trash her had 23.000 people cancel their subscriptions. The biggest part of obama;'s success has come because of the media and now its going to come back to bite them. I think the Obama campaign is stunned by the McCain/Palin ticket.

  11. You can not be serious.

Obama has the support of Dems, Reps and Independents alike. It didn't take him 19 months for that to happen either, more like half that.

The only people who like Palin are Republicans. And the reason they like her is because McCain is subdued and she brings a little excitement to the ticket and the reps are all over her. They are trying to mimic Obama being fresh and new. Lol the only difference is that Obama is that and more. he actually will get things done and bring folks together to make it happen. He's record for doing that is far more impressive than Palin's. She's nothing more than a ploy. And she's more than obliged to be used that way. It may look good on her resume, some day, if after this she still wants to be involved in politics.
