What are you supposed to do if you get a wet monkey in the middle of church service?

Is it appropriate to excuse yourself and scoot past everyone (and hope they don't smell anything)? Or is it best to try and hold the rest of it in until after the service? This happened to me last month - and it was terribly uncomfortable...

Smile, and excuse yourself of course. The church people should know better than to look back at you. Or smell you!
