  1. I hate to give you a stupid answer, but literally anything.

A journal is just a private outlet for people.

I like to write anything is in my mind at the time.

Whether it's a poem or lyrics.

    A letter to somebody.

    Thoughts about someone.

Venting about something that makes me mad.

A list of things I want to accomplish.

A random thing I saw that day, that made me think about some thing philosphical.

    Write a short story.

    Use it as a diary.

    Whatever you want.

  2. You can write anything you want in a journal. You can also make it very private. What ever you do, put your journal in a private place where you know where it is so no one can find it. I write my thoughts, idea's, people, what I did that day, what I want to do and personal observations about life.

I have written poetry in my journals but, you can also write lists, different kind of lists that come to you when the  mood strikes, on whatever you want to do and that includes what books you want to read and what kind of man you'd like to be with for the rest of your life. Well, dreaming is okay in your journal!  You can even draw. It is a acomplete book about you.

  3. A journal is much like a diary. You write the activities of your day or what you did .  Never write in a journal what you don't want anyone else to know. Unlike a diary, a journal can be read by others.
