What are your Daycare Favorites?

I am about to open a home daycare ...and I need some ideas...I'll be catering to kids ages 2-6.... there will be a max of 5 kids I will have.....

what are your kids favorites when they go to the daycare?

what do you, yourself love about the daycare?

example: a pool, swings ,certain books etc....

what do you think your daycare is missing?

well,it would be nice to set it up with some structure,like have a story time,a playtime where they can pretend,,maybe an inside play house for rainy days. a library bookshelf with all sorts of brite colored books with no tear pages for 2-3 yr.olds.

I don't like pools,because of drowning..but outtings are fun once a week,library,zoo,baby pool,picnic at the park,museum for children..and educational.always have another grown-up accompany you.Have a time for artwork,like one day have a story of a dinosaur and everyone colors a dinosaur that starts with the letter D.

I'm all for waterpainting,free expression,always have old shirts they can wear for this..good luck!
