What are your Favorite Restaurants in Philadelphia and WHY?

City Tavern because I am a history buff.  The food is comfort food (think stew on a cold afternoon), the beer is homemade and yummy, and the wait staff are in period costume and knowledgeable about the Founding Father's who ate and slept there.  Casual atmosphere and I do not remember it being expensive...but again the beer was yummy!
