What are your experiences at the Whaley House?

I went there in March, and can't get it out of my head... it was so creepy yet so cool ! I got a picture of a face as well ! AH ! :) and I saw a face in the window.. and much much more. !

Whaley house, where years earlier before the house was built, Yankee Jim Robinson was hanged for stealing. And where the daughter Violet killed herself after a failed marriage. Their spirits are said to haunt the house. Violet can be seen on the stairs and Yankee Jim in an arch to one of the rooms. When I was there I did not see them. But there was something there. Made me feel sad.

I seem to be a supernatural blanket, as NOTHING happens when I am around.

No mysteriously rocking chairs

No images through a window

No unusual smells

No eerie sounds

It almost is as if the afterlife finds me so boring, even THEY stay away

I enjoyed the visit although it was a lot smaller than I was expecting. I took several photos and there were orbs in a couple of them. However, orbs are caused by dust, water droplets, etc. so that didn't excite me. I didn't get a creepy feeling from it at all, but I am usually not very sensitive to that sort of thing. It sounds like your visit was more exciting than mine.

Did you read the notebooks full of court logs and personal letters? Those were cool.

I visited and did some psychic photography. Didn't come up with anything though.

Actually, the place is not creepy to me. I feel comfortable there. I was expecting to sense something because I tend to feel when a spirit is present, but they must have been hiding from me. ;-D

Some people have had some very disturbing experiences in that place though!

I get much more of a vibe from Ramona's Marriage Place (Casa de Estudillo). No results on the photos I took, though.
