  1. Nothing real clear yet. I am interested in this subject though.

I have to admit that I am very skeptical of most peoples stories.

    SC

  2. I never thought about it... never searched for a ghost... never crossed my mind... you know how it is.

Then I saw one in my hallway. Older man with short cut old time hair cut...suit jacket. He was side on and I saw his profile. He was all grey colours.... You know when people walk and you they move their body parts as they take steps.... well that didn't happen. He just floated/glided down the hall into the darkness.

Well I thought it was a joke. I was a little scared... and in disbelief. My husband thinks it's funny and still teases me about it.

I've had flickering lights and a few lamps have blown up. Our electrical has been checked... everything is fine. My husband just shrugs his shoulders, he always has a reason to why it happened... power surge.... sure... never had them before.

My furniture rattled one day. It went from side to side. The room went cold. I thought it was a joke. My husband just thinks I'm a bit nutty at times.

I think I have a 'very' intelligent ghost. He's either attached to an antique ring we brought or he wants me to do something.

Para normal events have happened for centuries. I think if you try not to look for them, but have an open mind about life... you may be a little surprised on what you may find.

  3. Everone has a soul and a spirit. After death they look land work like ghosts. Something strange?

  4. There are a lot of experiences if I would describe. I would say not only with spirits\ghosts but more than what you can think and imagine that I've been through in life...

Clairvoyance is my ability and I can sense what might happen and all those weird stuffs.

  5. I have never had an experience that required a paranormal explanation.

This question is asked daily, so if you don't get the stories you're looking for do a search.  Have fun!

  6. I would like to experience some paranormal events. I should go ghost hunting.

  7. As a pagan I usually pray and do rituals to honor my ancestors, on the last equinox and after sacrificing a goat (that we ate as part of the ritual) I entered this trance and saw my ancestors from hundreds of years ago.

  8. I lived in a house in 1972 where the old man who owned it died and he appeared to me and told me to get out of his house.

  9. I lived in a haunted house from grade school until college, and then I moved into a haunted dorm for two years while I was at school. I could write you a book about the ghosts I've experienced.

My parents have a ranch house with a full basement that was built around 1971. We moved there in April of 1989. About a week after we moved in, I was down in the spare bedroom in the basement for something. I happened to glance up at the mattress leaning against the wall, and I saw the back half of something black and cat-shaped disappearing through the wall. Since then, that room has had an evil feeling whenever I have to go down there, and I can hear things moving around in the basement if I'm alone in their house at night. I also saw a tall, thin man in 19th century clothes standing at the top of the stairs from the corner of my eye when I was in middle school, and a few times after that I saw him go down the stairs into the basement junk room while I was using the computer in the basement. There's something nasty at the front door. My room was right next to the front door, and nights when I heard lots of knocking and tapping in the front hall, I would have nightmares about an evil brown-haired woman trying to trick someone into letting her into the house. Nights I'm here alone, the cats sit in the bay window next to the front door and shriek at the top of their lungs, and the dog occassionally will run up to the door barking the hysterical way she does when someone rings the doorbell. My cousins once said they saw a ghost on our back patio, and I've never seen anything, but I quite frequently got the feeling growing up there that if I looked out the window, I would see something.

The last time I watched their house, their older cat broke the dog bowl my sister had made for them as a puppy-warming present by trying to pull it off the shelf where I'd put it to keep him out of the dog food. He gorged himself on dog food until he barfed and snarled at the dog when she came over to see what had happened. Then I brained myself good and hard on the upper shelf in the supply closet when I went to get the broom out of it. At that point I completely lost my temper and started screaming at him about what a stupid, greedy, bad cat he was. With no one else in the house, I distinctly heard a woman's voice ask from the next room "What did he do?"

I went to Ohio University in Athens, which is supposed to be one of the most haunted campuses in the country. I lived for a couple of years in Bryan Hall, which is supposed to be one of the most haunted buildings on campus. I literally didn't know anyone in that building who didn't have a story about the ghosts. Our friendly ghost was Flick, who liked to open my closet doors and move the storage boxes under my bed around. We also heard things moving around in the attic almost every night. Something grabbed my butt when I was cooking dinner alone in the kitchen one night. Another night, I was studying in the basement very late, and I felt something walk up behind me. I said out loud something like "Yes, you're scary, and I'm busy. Go away." Whatever it was got *mad*, and when I turned around, there were muddy footprints behind my chair that hadn't been there when I sat down Mostly because it hadn't rained in weeks. I also nearly ran into a young blonde girl in the fourth floor hall during sibs' weekend. I assumed she was someone's sister, so I smiled and said hi, then went on into the bathroom. That was when I realized that she'd been transparent, I hadn't actually heard the door of the room she went into open or close, and when I knocked on the door later, someone who lived down the hall told me that no one lived there. A friend of mine lived in the room where Flick was supposed to have hung himself, and she told me that she had seen what looked like bloodstains form on the ceiling, and heard hammering sounds from inside her closet. One Halloween we decided to organize a tour of our haunted attic, and that turned out to be a bad, bad idea. Nearly as bad as s******g around at the Ridges, the old asylum across the river from campus. Those are *really* long stories though--this is the short version, seriously--so feel free to email me if you'd like to hear them.
