What are your favorite colors, and why?`?

I like the color turquoise because it makes me feel peaceful, happy, and refreshed. I also like the color yellow because it just kind of pops and seems happy. My last but certainly not least favorite color is light green. It has a natural kind of feeling that brightens up my day.

When I decorate:

Black - its simple or sophisticated

Cream - its a good neutral color

Burgundy or Hunter Green - it's a good balance to the two colors

With clothes:

Black - its my favorite color and it helps hide the flaws

Least favorite: oranges, purples and (sorry) yellow. I like dark colors and earth tones.

My preference changes all the time.  Depending on the time of year and what mood i am in.  I really love all colour as it is amazing as to how it can make a difference to the way you live. for instance i have just painted my kitchen a real calm 'earthy ' green and now, everytime i walk in there it just makes me feel so peacefull and calm, its wonderful..i just love that colour. I also think it depends what it is that is that particular colour for instance i just love red pointe ballet shoes -like in that movie the red shoes and i just love the shade of blue that is on the scottish flag - no other blue - just that one with the white. lol!

I love turqoise too, partially because I was born in December and it is my birthstone colour. I also love turqoise because it begins with a t, like my name does.

But my personal favourite colour is lilac, because it gives off a warm and homey sort of colour. It's quite girly, but not too girly so every girl in the world likes it as their favourite colour. I think lilac would make a good name for a girl too!

I find it best to think of variety.  Having one colour in my life sounds boring.  It's variety that gives me pleasure - the way that colours interact with each other, the way they complement or clash.  Sorry but I don't do favourites.  It's not my style.
