What are your favorite colors to layer together?

Question

I'm going shopping tomorrow and I'd appreciate some ideas of two colors that look good together? What's a combination you like to wear?

it sounds weird, but if you get the right shades together i thinkt that teal, yellow, and orange look good togeter, but it has to be a lighter teal, and a bright orange. otherwise it looks weird...

mmmmm, you have to be careful with this. It depends on what your colours are, you need to wear clothes that bring out you, not the clothes and that suit you. Jeans, heels and a colourful blouse works. Or, you would wear patterned colourful mini dress with lots of bangles, perhaps look at Mischa Barton's style, it tends to guide me.

i like light blue because i can layer it with white, black, or grey . . .

and i like pink, because i can layer it with those same three colors. i wear those color combos a lot.

I wear a turquoise and a shade of pink( any color pink)

I think dark red and blue-green go really well together...

gold and silver go well with just about any color.. I usually do pink and gold or blue and sliver. Black is ok if you have light colors with it, otherwise its just a little too much in my opinion. White goes well with almost anything too.. my favorite is white and indigo.

i love layering colors! what i do is usually have one dark/bright color and then a more subdued color underneath or vice versa. like:

purple and yellow

blue and grey

red and white

green and black....
