What are your favorite names and why?

Just a fun question, I thought I'd get a peek of what everyone's taste is. =)

Feminine names I like:

Gianna (Gia)

Adriana (Ade/Adria)

Aida

Melinda

Miranda

Felicia

Julie/Julia

Leah/Leigha

Laura (there's nothing wrong with liking your own name! =D)

-I guess I like these names alot because they roll off the tongue nicely, and they sound a little unique but yet simple, nothing too fancy or extravagant.

Masculine names I like:

Collin

Louis

Mark

Anthony

Adrian

Nicholas (Nick)

Giovanni (Gio)...I like it, i know it's weird but ... =)

Names I'm no fan of:

Ashley

Amanda

Jessica

Stephanie

Melissa/Marissa

Tiffany

Chantelle (names that end with 'elle' at the end)

Mercedes

Isabelle/a

Penelope

-Some of these names are overly used and are too 'trendy,' not to mention that some of these names are just the 'made up' names that end up sounding trashy rather than classy.

My favorite girls names:

Skylar, Riley, Shiloh, Elissa, Ava, Sophie, Shai, Eden, Lilee, Charlie

And my own name, Miriam-Mimi. ( :

I like girls names that are sweet and simple, but give identity.

 

my favorite boys names:

Liam, Alexander/Alex, Saxon, Jason, Reese, Ryan, Jake

I like boys names with a nice, classic sound.

I hate the girls names Maria, Tiffany, Jessica,  Mercedes, Susannah, Lousia and I hate the boys names James, Mel, Morrie, Joe, Mark, Ian, Isaac
