What are your favorite pack of playing cards?

My favorite is the Bicycle Masters Edition deck because of the air-flow finish.

Well, that's a tough question. There are different types of cards regional to different countries.

For the regular French suited 52 card packs, I would go for the Tony Meeuwissen "The Key to the Kingdom".

I love the German pattern cards though, a reduced  pack of 36 cards with the suit signs Acorns, Leaves, Hearts, and Bells. Their court cards are a little different also, having a Konig, Ober, and Unter.

When it comes to tarot, which is my favourite family of card games, then...

For the French suited packs, the Argio Orell (published as the Alan Tarot) is easily the best and most beautiful.

For the Tarocco Bolognese, the Mitelli is very beautiful but not very practical - so I tend to prefer the Modiano pack.

For Italian suited packs, I would usually end up using the Modian Tarocco Piedmontese - though I prefer a reproduction soprafino pack published by Lo Scarabeo as the Ancient Italian Tarots.
