  5. Hi there! Happy New Year to you! xxxx There are loads and loads of great restaurants in London: My favourites are in Islington Upper Street and are: Mem and Laz (delicious food with a lovely cosy atmosphere, brilliant prices and Mem the owner is really delightful), The Fish Shop on St Johns Street (which is very near to Sadlers Wells) Fish Fish and more Fish - absolutely fresh, beautifully cooked and wonderfully friendly staff) and last but not least, Pasha which is a Turkish restaurant on Islington Upper Street (charming staff who make you feel so at home - gorgeous tasty food (I always get the Pasha's dinner which is lovely) and has a good wine list too! x*x So I shall wish you...Happy Eating!! There is also a great Chinese Restaurant on Upper Street called Youngs which has been there about 30 years I guess, and you really are spoilt for choice - there's Japanese, Lebanese, Indian and Thai - the list goes on and on (and so do I ) :o) Heheh you've made me hungry now!! Enjoy yourself!! x*x

  6. without any doubt whatsoever it's club gascon, smithfield.

  7. THE ones around Covent garden are great.

  8. The Spaghetti House is fanstastic, the one on Googe Street cooks up fantastic italian meals

  9. The French House in Dean Street, Soho. A small restuarant that is very atmospheric. The food is not cheap, but excellent. They have a pretty good wine list too. The bar downstairs is also worth a visit.

Brick Lane near Liverpool Street Station has many good bangladeshi restaurants. City Spice at the start of Brick Lane is very good. Food here is cheaper, and you can take your own drink.

If you do not fancy this, try somewhere in Covent Garden. Lots of places there, and things to see apparently. It always gets the best answer vote.

  10. Best of all: St John, in St John Stret, Clerkenwell. Meat-lover's paradise.

Best ethnic: Fairuz( Lebanese) in Blandford St, W1. Amazing meze and grills

Best cheap: Best Mangal (Turkish) oppsite West Kensington tube.

Best view: Skylon  (the grill is cheaper and better) at the Festival Hall, South bank. Great food, service a bit rubbish, but get a window table and you won't care.

Best Oysters and seafood: Wright Bros. at Borough Market

    I could go on!
