  1. I just heard the news when I came home from school, and I am shocked. All we can do is donate money and food. I feel so bad for all the people who had suffer because of the earthquake. My grandpa is in Chengdu, so please let him be alright. 9000 people.......

  2. its crazy.. could you imagine something like that happening where you live? I could just imagine the chaos if it were here in Atlanta.. its so sad, so many families were devistated by this. kind of one of those things thats beyond words.

  3. I feel really sorry for these people and their families. I hope the U.S sends food, water, supplies, and shelter for these people

  4. i am overwhelmed with it

i wish i knew how to help

avoiding the news as best i can, i will do something for sure i just need time to get my head wrapped around it

will make a donation, probably to the red cross

that's where i tend to give my international relief donations

  5. oh my god i was tottlay devastated

  6. There was an earthquake?

  7. It is heartbreaking what happened. I cant imagine how they are suffering. Also, as a parent, it must be absolutley devastating knowing your child is trapped underneath rubble, and there is nothing you can do to help them. Absolutely heartbreaking..

  8. It happens a lot, particularly in China with its 1.3 billion people...tragedies happen all the time, sometimes you just have to forget it and move on if it doesn't affect you directly.  Or donate money to overseas relief efforts...

  9. bu xihuan. chinese people are cool, i hate to hear they are suffering. very sad.......

  10. My heart aches for them.  And especially for the cyclone survivors in Burma since their govt. won't let anyone help them out.  Human suffering is just the most depressing thing to me.  But it's something we have no control over so we can't live our lives in fear and constant sadness.  I guess all we can do is help where we can and go on about our lives.  And maybe I should stop watching the news so much. :(

  11. There are some frightening things going on all over the world right now. I can't help but think Mother Earth is doing a little population reduction all around. And please don't misunderstand, I'm not referring to any race, religion, class, etc...

Just large (and small for that matter) natural disasters are seeming to claim large amounts of life at once in the last few years.

    It's getting kind of scary...

  12. It's terrible. I feel so sorry for everyone going through that awful time and for those who lost loved ones.

  13. Bummer,

Then I thought is this the after math of something that has already happened in the world or some other disaster that is going to happen.

Ying and yang effect, earth quake here, and a tidal wave there. Just how the weather/ planet work.

  14. Personally, I'm greatly disturbed by it. I visited Chengdu in 2007 and made many good friends there. It's a terrible tragedy for them.
