My generation. I'm about to be a junior in high school...well I'm graduating early. But I still consider myself a junior. I feel that society either looks at us as selfish little brats and that others see us as the next best things. What is your opinion and why? (I'm just curious. And I will talk back and add details on my opinion to some answers too. Just the heads up.)

  1. Take it from me a seasoned generation watcher. You guys need to be cuddled and hugged constantly, while being nurtured with spiritual introspect and logic. from the sixties until now we have been squirting out some really weird generations....... I'm just kidding:) You guys are terrific, keep up the great work and have lot's of kids. I pronounce you the smarter generation... Make us proud!!!!

  2. Polite, respectful, hard working, ambitious, honest, willing to help and learn. Well that is my genuine opinion of the ones I know, especially one I happen to know very well.

  3. ...egocentric...technical genius...definitely given all without merit...

  4. I am concerned with what they are teaching this generation and how this generation accepts it verbatim without questioning it. I do have hope after speaking with some young people that they feel the same as I do but you would not know it from Yahoo answers.

  5. i think that the youth today (and by the way i'm in high school right now) is to be honest a little more selfish and arogant at least compaired to the older generations.

the reason why, i believe, is because we have alot more luxuries and don't do as much work as the older generations.

but it would seem that the things we are learning in school are alot harder and parents have changed as well though.

but not all of us are as bad as adults think trully there are the people that are the opposite of what i said mostly teens being brats is a sterotype.

i hope that helps a bit.

  6. Im 17 from london and think todays youth are out of control what with all the killings and all that between youth2youth.....all respect goes out the window....with most of them...and they no longer learn to respect their elders or parents or fellow humans...its spiralling out of control esp here in s.e london.
