What are your impressions on Shaun Burgoyne's 3 match ban?

I could not care less lol hate Port Adelaide but I want to see what you have to say :] The ban was a bit rough there was not a lot he could do to prevent what happened. Like I said though I am happy in a way he is out.

Alex as we all know, the head is sacrosanct,  you just cannot attack the head, i know he was running at full pelt but he made no effort to miss him, he wasn't driving a car, those of us who have played footy, know you can miss the target if you want to, but S.Burgoyne isn't afraid to lay a shepherd or a tackle, like him as a player but probably got his right whack.

To me it didn't look like he had any option other than to bowl over his opponant. How much time do they really think players have to make a decision on the football field? I think it stinks. I thought that suspensions were supposed to be imposed on players who "intentionally" hurt or interfered with others!

don't really care about burgoyne, but i loved the performance mark williams gave to the media on the decision.

You already have the Big Bad R's Experts opinion, so mine will seem insignificant, but i think it was an accident, and I'm a big fan of Mitchell's, i would think 2 weeks max.

3 weeks for an incident that didn't even warrant a free kick according to the umpires.  3 weeks for an accidental hit that didn't even warrant a free kick being paid, and 1 week for a deliberate cheap shot , and deliberate strike.What ever the tribunal is smoking they should get off it 24 hours before they review anything.

Shaun Burgoyne should not have been charged - let alone suspended.

If asnyone, Mitchell should have been suspended for diving!

Judging on the incident i reckon 3 weeks is a bit rough! Should of only got 2 weks for it!

Bloody ridiculous and another example of the joke AFL has become. It risks alienating lifelong footy fans due to its bitchassness.
