Question:

What are your mock draft tips?

I'm practicing my draft over at ESPN and would appreciate hearing some tips or suggestions on how to make the best use of my practice drafts.

Do you draft QB-WR-RB-RB to test yourself from a late position in a 10- or 12-team draft?

Do you practice drafting from each draft position (e.g. if you have the 6th pick overall in your formal draft, do you practice drafting from the 7th or 8th position)?

BTW: I've got another mock draft question still open, regarding keeper league mock drafts.

  1. depends on what your drafting for and the rules.  if doing mock draft for a private money league i just suggest you do it on paper.  you know the players in your league and there tendecies.  doing 1 on the computer will just help you get a feel for the later rounds and what might be available to help you better prepare for your draft strategy

  2. i prefer

rb wr rb wr to start off with

forget about the kicker and the defense

get good running backs and wide receivers

later on there plenty of good te and qb

  3. Go with a Randy Moss to start with then try a Tom Brady type. Go for a RB with alot of receptions and all purpose yards.(Brian Westbrook)Then a DEF, after that it all pans out.

  4. I really like  http://www.cheatsheetwarroom.com

I think the dude that created it frequents this YA section. And he really seems to know football from his answers. So go there and make a custom cheat sheet,or print a pre made one.Cheat sheets are the key to a successful draft.
