What are your most meaningful phrases for tattoos? ?

so im thinking about getting a textual "tat" haha (and translating to german after) but i want it to be a short and meaningful phrase. my one friend god "the good life" on hers in french i thought that was nice. anyways, i know you dont know me or what i believe in but id like to hear about what someone else would like so i could get some ideas perhaps.

Personally, I would get a Dumbledore or Fred'n'George quote from the Harry Potter series. But that's what means the most to me - obviously, you probably wouldn't want that.

Do you have a favorite movie, TV show or book? Try some of those. Do you have a strong cultural background? Try looking up classic idioms and expressions in that language.

It's what's most personal to you, not just "cool" to others. You're going to have it on your body for the rest of your life, most likely, so make it count.
