It's nice that they admitted to doing something stupid.

  1. I think NASCAR was wrong and i'm glad they are actually willing to admit it for once. But they need to work harder to get these things right the first time.

    Note to MARK:

Do you just go through these questions and answer everyone just to bash on JR? Your answer had nothing to do with the question. It took 77 races for him too win. do you not think that if NASCAR was gonna risk their entire reputation to get him a win they might have done it along time ago??? Or just not called the hornish caution? then JR would have won with NO controversy.

  2. I don't normally side with Vickers but at least he graciously accepted their mistake.  Took it like a man, more than I can say about a bunch of cry babies around here.

Wrong call or not, Jr would have won that race regardless...as long as Carpentier spun out on the G/W/C, Jr wins.  Running out of gas under green was the only way he would have lost.

Hey Troy B...good thing no one else goes by "your book" huh?

  3. What's Vickers crying about he got a win at Talladega when he bumped the #48 and #88 off the lead to get his first win. Stop crying!

  4. I have no opinion. That race is behind us and is in the books. We need to move on. I'm sure Vickers has.

  5. Unfortunately bad calls happen in every sport, it's not like they can call a time out for an instant replay, I agree that I don't think he was going to win, but he was definately robbed of a much better finish than he got.

  6. they should have stoped the race and fixed their mistake.they did it for earnhardt sr several years ago when they black flaged him for missing lug nuts that they said was missing but was'nt.

  7. Where did it say they apologized at?

If they did apologize, however, I think that makes it even more obvious that he got the raw end of that deal. They usually do not admit to being wrong, of course it's too late to change it now.

  8. Interesting.  I did not think NASCAR would apologize.  Oh well, A win may be a win but it was a bogus win in my book.

  9. And after 76 races we all know Jr. fans know all about sucking it up and moving on...  "Look what I found today daddy, someone put this here trophy in my lap and just kissed me on the cheek".  I didn't think anything like that was ever going to happen ever again".

Vickers is a great driver, but bad stuff happens to all drivers every now and then, what goes around comes around, the breaks will fall his way eventually.

  11. I also would like to see the link!!

    I also found a link on this>> http://www.scenedaily.com/news/articles/...

My opinion is we all make mistakes, and this could be payback for some of the things he has done,so he needs to suck it up and move on!

  12. but isn't threatening a black flag the same thing as telling him to move back and black flagging if he didn't personally i want to know when there is a chance for a black flag... it was end of the race things were crazy

  13. I did'nt see Vickers where he thought he was during end of the race, I dont know what he's whinning about, us juinor fans felt the same when we wrecked juinor at Talladega, know he knows how we feel
