Will UNASUR realise the economical integration between all the countries (including Colombia) in South America or it is only a military alliance ?

If it means I can meet women in all those countries without needing abunch of visas, than it sounds good to me.

The plan is not only a military alliance  but also an E.U like integration.

The real test for UNASUR would be in 2009 after G.W.Bush is gone. Because as of right now it is not possible to estimate how much of the driving force behind this organization is positive forward thinking, how much of it is prevailing anti-U.S, anti-Bush sentiments.

Nevertheless, even naming a South American defense structure run by the South American countries is a milestone if not a turning point since 1823 Monroe Doctrine.
