What are your opinions of Mary Kay makeup products?

I had an in-home makeover using Mary Kay products a couple of years ago, and I am looking into potentially purchasing some Mary Kay products. I will primarily be purchasing tinted moisturizer, lip tint, and some products to enhance my eyes (blue color).

What are your opinions of Mary Kay products? I have somewhat oily and acne-prone skin, and sensitive eyes.

What products and colors should I use to enhance my blue eyes, and make them pop.

If you do not care for Mary Kay for whatever reason, what other products can you recommend? Is Avon a good website to purchase makeup from?

I've never tried Mary Kay, because they're not easily accessiable, you have to buy through a seller, and you can't see the products.

Mary Kay is good makeup .. I like bare essentials better. If you dont want to spend alot of money. Buy from ebay.. its cheaper and still brand new.

I used Mary Kay, it was the only foundation that has worked on my sensitive skin

you can go to Marykay.com and do a virtural makeover you can even download a picture of yourself.  warm brown and gold, cooper, bronze colors with orange udertone look good on blue eyes

Mary Kay had been around for years and is a reputable company and they use advanced technology when formulating there products, it is very popular line.

Hello, my wife will answer this one for you as she uses Mary Kay.

I use the moisturizer, foundation and the eyeliners, eyeshadows and blushes. The moisturizer is amazing, it is very light and you don't feel greasy. I have very sensitive skin with oily patches as well and I have never had a problem with their foundation making me look more oily. I have blue eyes as well and if you want your eyes to pop, use purples like plum and greens like jade or darker. This is what I was told and they do make your eyes stand out more. Never use blues on blue eyes, it just disguises them. Also use white powder on the inside of your eyes to open them up and look larger. I hope this has helped. I am lucky as my sister sells Mary Kay and has helped me out alot.
