  1. To be against off-shore drilling is to be for dependence on foreign oil, to be for high gas prices; to be for diminishing our already too fragile economy.  In my opinion, there's no question - let's get the oil we have, instead of buying it from someone else.  It doesn't make sense to pay $5 for a cup of your neighbors' sugar when you have fifty pounds of sugar at your own house.

  2. Against. Its an idiot's desperate plan.

  3. Off-shore drilling should not stop us from finding alternate fuels.  We have GOT to cut back on our fuel waste, buy and drive more fuel-efficient cars.  If we don't drill off-shore, though, other countries will.  And if consumers don't demand better fuel-efficient cars, the automakers won't make them unless they can't sell their big cars anymore.

The bad thing about off-shore drilling is the environmental aspects.  Flordia has banned the drilling to avoid oil-infested beaches.  Its beaches are prime tourist attractions.  That is why Florida beaches are white and clean and Texas beaches are oil-slicked and smelly.

The off-shore drilling is meant for the Atlantic and Pacific coasts.

  4. The worst mistake in the world is to do offshore drilling to satisfy the thirst for over consuming  fat Americans. We need to learn to cut back, not consume and consume.Where will it end.

  5. My opinion is: Whats the hold up?

  6. I'm whatever.

To me our issue is we're too dependent on Middle Eastern Oil instead of fixing our issues with Venezuela who is in the same Hemisphere. But no our Government can only f*ck over Latin countries, instead of working with them...

  7. Drill, and drill some more. we need to drop the price of oil while we work on renewable fuels.
